The Beginning Dalby

Father and son began an epic journey to land in the south the Red warriors were to battle the blue wariors from the south.They set off from Chichilla and the goal was for the son to sample a glass of ale in each hotel that they past on there jouney and any that were spied upon a side street .The start is above and soon they wer on there way along the most crooked route they could find on there way to the south

It was a very nice lunch and we watched a bit of tenis my winings from thr mystery bet in Dalby were used to some good effect and got rid of the worms and soaked up some amber ale we had a couple there

ith t time getting away the Warrick hotels were a place of tuggers and wantabes even some were closed

We heade onto Killarney as the sun went down where once again the mystery bet was successful.

The Woodenbong Hotel our refugeo for the night .The towns water cannot be drunk only tank water which is not much of a problem if you like beer as we do .We are now off on our journey to the battle ground this hotel was number 21 for the day and the boy was a bit tied but he did well .How many more today efore we each our goal?

Well not much hapenning yet have some jobs to do re setting up radio communications and arranging times for village designer in melbourne whilst I am there.Len left work today for his new adventure in THe Northern Territory working out at Tipperary station as the conservation manager and for their property down in Victoria at Dunkeld sounds like a fantastic adventure for Len, Jo and Cameran they will have a great time and be very successful at what ever they do .

Life is too short not to grab every opportunity that comes your way.Every day is the first day of the rest of your life and is there to be enjoyed no good good saying if only.Been there done that it only creates bitternes and depression some times hattred but that is a dredfull word anfd must be sed only for artichokes and those of you who hate broccoli.It is to time and soul consuming to hate people who are often some one who has being close to you.

We are after just a commodity like wheat wool and minerals we sell our ability to the Highest bidder and if you absolutley love your job that is a real bonus .
We are just a number on the payroll nobody is irreplacable one upon a time the Banks even showed loyalty to ther clients and visa versa.That was a different era and will never be repeated again.

Well life is buzing along pretty well on the work front too hot to  work utside too hard after lunch so try and get it all done  before first tme i have enjoyed paper wotk for a while .Queen of toads is hay with her new find from y shed I believe it has made a great differencr to er life and even the diabetic depressed moggy is happier and has not bitten ay one for a while (just leaves that up to her boss).the queen of toads is very like another Queen I have had dealings with Bodecia of Sinclair very forthright,practical.good to work with and does not like oxygen thieves and great friends.
Have organised my internal shifting and moving etc so all i have to do is try and concentrate on my current job bloody hard but will persavere Bob is eeping me in lineHe is goig to train with the Chinchilla Bulldogs toorrow night for thr first time .Rugby league so sme thing new for him.He is going really well and has done his dad proud and is welcome back to work here any time so that is great.

First Post

Have booked my  ticket to Khartoum yesterday will start pcking up and getting read to  leave Queensland on feb 13 2010 and then head to Melbourne see the cousins and my sister and then off to Perth to see the boys and fly out ont he 26th.Starting to get excited at thought of a new adventure and challenge in a totally differnt land of both customs people ,languge,country side every thing imaginable will be different and new.

there is a bit of intrepidation but not a lot as the thought of doing something such as building and creating a 250,000 ha farm is such a fantastic challenge of being able to build a strong team of people and work with different people from all over the world will be amazing and the experience of a life time.
